Holiday season
Our office would like to wish you a healthy and safe holiday season.
We apologize for any delays you may have encountered , but we are truly trying our best to accommodate your needs as best we can. We are limited in the time and space available to us to care for you. It appears that our schedule is full for the rest of the year, but any diagnosis of cancer will be accommodated immediately.
As a reminder please be sure to make a follow up appointment after your surgery, and if you had a colonoscopy with biopsy.
As always we are greatful for our patients, and hope you stay healthy.

New software
I would like to share something with you.
Our office is in the process of converting to new software , it is a great challenge for us.
I ask you to be patient with us as we move forward with this new venture.
As with every new venture, it will be a little slow but should get back to our normal flow.
To alleviate things we have extended our office hours so we can accommodate your appointments.
I know we ask a lot of you but this process will eventually speed things up and make it easier for us to take care of you
I assure you, your calls will be answered and returned as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patients and as always please stay healthy

discharge instructions
When you are discharged from the hospital I will usually leave written instruction for you in your chart. These instructions will help you in the after care after your surgery or procedure. Generally, with incisions your bandages can be removed the next day and showering is permitted ( except for breast biopsy where a plastic dressing is placed and kept on till I see you In office ). Also be sure to take all your medicine routinley like you did before surgery (onless told otherwise). Return to your normal diet gradually, try not to over do it at first.
You should use your pain medicine as needed, it's given to you for pain, use it and don't suffer through it.. Lastly ( for now ) be sure the nurse writes your name on the prescription
Before you leave the hospital otherwise the pharmacy will not fill it.
